Three of Ohio’s eleven resettlement offices are ending their resettlement programs this fall.
Declines in arrivals and federal funding have forced the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops–which oversees 60 of U.S.’s 360 resettlement offices–to withdraw from the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program this fall. Catholic Charities of Cleveland, Catholic Social Services of Dayton, Catholic Charities of Cincinnati are three of those offices.
Donating to these offices can help position them to resume resettlement should the federal landscape change.
