You can do what the federal government won’t: fund resettlement. Help a local office to keep their doors open and their lights on.

While Catholic Charities is winding down its resettlement program, your donation can help position the agency to resume resettlement should the federal funding landscape change.

Wheeling

Catholic Charities of West Virginia, the only organization in the state that resettles refugees, is ending its resettlement program.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops–which oversees 60 of U.S.’s 360 resettlement offices–announced its intent to withdraw from the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program by October. Catholic Charities of West Virginia, located in Wheeling, is one of those offices.

Donating to these offices can help position these agencies to resume resettlement should the federal landscape change.
